About Me

  • I have more than 10 years of experience and training in providing counselling. I have worked with adults, teens, children, families and couples in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community clinics, and non-profit agencies.
  • I use a holistic approach to therapy – I often use techniques from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Mindfulness-based therapies, and will tailor my approach to match your specific personality and needs. Most importantly, I believe a strong relationship between the therapist and the client is the most important element that leads to change. Therefore, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel safe to work through the issues that you are struggling with.
  • On a personal level, I really enjoy having a good laugh, being creative, and spending time with the people I love.
